What is DigiMaps?
DigiMaps is Digisigns’ indoor mapping and wayfinding platform: interactive 3D venue maps with turn-by-turn directions, searchable directories, kiosk mode and an embeddable web SDK, authored in a multi-floor Studio and published with preview, approval and rollback.
Does DigiMaps support accessible, step-free routing?
Yes. Routes can avoid stairs and escalators for step-free journeys, and an emergency mode computes nearest-exit routing for evacuation guidance on kiosks and web.
Which languages does the visitor wayfinder support?
The wayfinder UI ships in English, Spanish, Arabic and French with full right-to-left support, and search is typo-tolerant, diacritic-insensitive and works across scripts, a visitor can type in one script and find a place named in another.
How do visitors take directions with them?
Kiosk-to-mobile QR handoff: the kiosk shows a QR of the exact route, the visitor scans it and continues turn-by-turn on their own phone. QR codes are generated locally, no third-party service.
How do maps get built and updated?
The DigiMaps Studio supports multi-building, multi-floor authoring with draw-and-extrude geometry, floorplan import (GeoJSON, IMDF, DXF), real-time multi-user co-editing, and a publishing pipeline with immutable snapshots, preview, scheduled release and rollback.
Can DigiMaps show live information?
Yes, live closures and congestion feed into routing and heatmaps, public-transit departures (GTFS-RT) and airport flight boards (FIDS) can appear in the wayfinder, and kiosk fleets report heartbeats with remote config push.
